The Restaurant Refuge l’Espace serves only regional delicacies – that are surrounded by the extraordinary mountain scenery. The unique location close to Quille du Diable offers a grand view into the Val Derborence in the Valais, as well as onto the Bernese Alps, making this small restaurant something special. It takes just under an hour to get to Refuge l’Espace from the Glacier 3000 mountain station Scex Rouge.

Openings :
Open until Sunday 15.10.2023.
Annual closure from Monday 16.10 to Thursday 16.11.2023 (included).
Open from November 25th to around mid-December, weather and access road conditions permitting.
From mid-December, open daily until 30.04.2024.
This depends on the weather conditions and the operating hours of the gondola.
No table reservations possible, therefore we also recommend the slightly earlier or later meal times. Usually open from 10.00am to 03.15pm Hot meals from 11.00am to 02.45pm.
