Glacier 3000 Run - 5th August 2017

The Unique Glacier Run

26 km lie between the start of the Glacier 3000 Run at the Gstaad Promenade (1’050 metres) and the finish line at Glacier 3000 (2’950 metres). Those who want to participate must be in top condition. The only run over a glacier takes place each year in August. The terrain – from asphalt to forested and meadow trails, to ice and snow in an alpine landscape – offers much variety, but requires a lot from a trained athlete. The Glacier 3000 Run has established itself in the running calendar and has a big field of international runners. At the same time kids also have the opportunity in the Gstaad Kids Run on the Gstaad Promenade.
